About Us

Reflection and Hope

I think most of us can share in the trials during this past year, or at least have known a friend or family member that has struggled.  Thinking back at the last 11 months, sometimes I'm not too sure what to think.  At times, I relive the stress and anguish of having to financially supply for my family in an economy that doesn't make that task all that easy.  At other times, I'm overwhelmed by the unending love of family and friends, and the solidarity
of the Christian community that continues to surround us.

So here it is… Our last 2009 issue of InnerVoice, and one that we'll continue to reflect on during the coming years.  For our last issue of 2009, our very own Delia Kang and Jennifer Ladas had the opportunity to sit down with David Crowder for a humbling one-on-one interview.  We also had the pleasure of interviewing Mark Hall of Casting Crowns and were impressed with his vintage southern temperament.  You'll even get to read an article written by 8 year old Tyler Backer about his experience meeting with TobyMac and Reliant K.  We learned that Tyler has dreams of becoming a Christian musician himself one day.  How awesome is that!  How hopeful our future looks.

Sure, I'm not too certain what to think about some of the events of this past year, but the thought that keeps reverberating in every ounce of my being is that there is great hope for the year to come.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing in our lives at InnerVoice.  We wish you and your families and friends a beautiful Christmas and a memorable New Year brimming with anticipation and great hopes.

Peace and Love,

David
