A New Dawn
Welcome to the first 2010 issue of InnerVoice! While 2009 was the year that held the naive beginnings of our publication ministry, we’ve been very much looking forward to getting on with the New Year, as I’m sure many of you have. While we faced some challenges last year and admit that things weren’t always as easy as we had hoped, it’s been humbling to witness how the Lord has intervened and used our publication ministry as a forum for the Christian community.
In this new issue of InnerVoice, we had the pleasure of interviewing the very humble and talented acoustic guitar duo, Shane & Shane. Dawn Michele, lead singer of Fireflight, takes us “Behind the Album” of their latest project. Piano-pounding up and comers, Seabird, land a spread in this latest issue as well. We got up close and personal with worship leader and singer/songwriter, Michael Hoddy, who shares some fresh perspectives on leading worship in today’s church. Also in this issue, read up on what our friends in the studios at STAR 99.1 have been up to, and don’t miss Robert Stearns from Eagles’ Wings ministry as talks to the church today about “coming back to the heart of worship.”
As a “crossroads for Christian voices,” InnerVoice brings you faith articles from the perspective of musicians, pastors, our staffers, and people in the community just like you. We trust you will find these articles transparent and informative. But most of all, we pray they will be a source of inspiration and hope to the body of believers.

As a new decade dawns, hope reigns here at InnerVoice. We’ve had some recent welcome additions to the InnerVoice family, including Suzy, our new Director of Development, and Elaine, our first ever intern. God willing, 2010 will be the year our ministry publication will be distributed nationally, so we’re very excited! We will immediately be moving to a bi-monthly publication schedule as we gear up to go national later in the year.
